Pepsi Cola Interior Neon Sign

This is a real jewel of a find as with many of my items as I am told by so many. I ran an entertainment facility where this was installed and while Pepsi Cola would only provide a Window Hanging True Neon Sign. We wanted real neon but we wanted it protected to be around people. The answer was to get carpenter to build a custom wood display case to our technical person's specs that would enclose the sign in an attractive case and offer a Plexiglas front panel that would protect the sign from an occasional Frisbee or Football that might fly into it at a kid's birthday party. (This did happen a few times as we anticipated. There no obvious scratches or damages to the face though.) We wanted it wall mounted at the top where drop ceiling would conceal and allow the High Voltage Neon Sign Transformer to be housed away from people and yet close to the sign for easy install and access if we ever needed it. The result is what you see above.

 You get the sign with custom wood display sign cabinet with metal wall hanging straps designed to allow for wall hanging secure installation and of course  the required High Voltage Neon Sign Transformer. The sign works if you plug it in right now and it it is just waiting for your custom advertising message as shown on the sign when it was still installed in the location where it was removed from. Sections of hose were added around the high voltage neon cable where it went through the ceiling and passed metal drop ceiling frame where it might arc or ground out casing erratic operation failure or health hazard.  This installation was engineered very well and of course we never had a problem with it in it's operation. The hose insulators obviously did well and will be shipped installed on the lines for you. You can remove them if you like. I am not sure why you would want to though. This Blue Pepsi Neon Sign is sharp as it is and ready to hang and plug in.

The sign is about 26 inches wide and is ready to hang. I have shown the transformer sitting to the right of the sign. The transformer is a dual intensity model and allows for two brightness levels. We always used on the low intensity output level and it is really, really bright even in this setting. (It screams attention!) We kind of figured this run the electrodes a little cooler in the sigh and prolong service life. There are no flickers or instabilities in the glow of the sign. It looks great. There a few scuffs on the case probably from transportation out of the install. It is multi polyurethane coated to a high gloss on the wood case if you happen to notice a blemish which is not really too noticeable unless you are really looking at it. You can easily touch it up with a finish out of your own local hardware store. Again you have to be really looking at it critically to even notice any scuffs. I am picky myself so I was just sharing this.

Overall the sign is great and just waiting for new home. You can install it as it is and it is ready to go or easy modifications if you have your own ideas.  If you want a True Actual Pepsi Cola Blue Neon Sign in a protected enclosure and not some cheesy imitation neon. This is your sign and your lucky day. Overall the sign looks almost new and can be installed in your location that has drop ceiling in probably 10 - 15 minutes. It helps to have two people. One to hold the sign and one to secure it when mounting. I installed it alone at the time because no one was around and I wanted it in asap and I remember it being a challenge both to stabilize and to mount up.
